US Constitution.

The Constitution of the United States was signed, September 17th, 1787, and this date is celebrated as Constitution Day. With this document, we should always remember that we are a nation of laws and not of men. We live by and obey the laws that "we the people" enact through our representatives and not by the dictates of men. If any man or woman should violate or circumvent these laws, an impartial court should rule. If any citizen does not agree with the laws, the constitution provides the means to change them, peacefully. Listen to  or Read the constitution in its entirety, portions, or download the audio files and take them with you. Lets all become better voters and more responsible citizens. Plus it is interesting reading and listening.

Kinavey Hearing

New The 15th and final session was conducted, and the hearings are now officially closed. It is now up to the school board to deliberate and reach a verdict, as to whether or not Mrs. Kinavey will be retain her superintendent position. This will probably not happen, until the August 24th board meeting.

Her attorney has already filed a suit in Federal Court, and will file in Allegheny County Court of Common Pleas,  if the school board's decision goes against her.

Should this continue in the courts, the added cost would be high, but it will be interesting to have more information revealed and potentially have more of those involved identified.

But, think about this: Where is the benefit to the tax payers and the kids.
